Animated Movie - Sinbad : Legend of the Seven Seas
![]() Category: Animated Movie Title: Sinbad – Legend of the Seven Seas Genre: Action & Adventure, Romance (Slight), Just for Kids Directed by: Patrick Gilmore, Tim Johnson Base on: (Unknown, could be from the tales of Sinbad, but not sure) Music by: Harry Gregson-Williams Distributed by: DreamWorks Distribution Length of Movie: 1 hour 27 minutes Language: English Some of the Character casts: Brad Pitt – Sinbad Catherine Zeta-Jones – Michelle Pfeiffer – Eris, Goddess of Chaos Joseph Fiennes - Proteus Official Website: http://sinbad-themovie.com My Rating: 5/10 Plot/ Story line: I found the story line way too simple, total lack of drama. I’m sorry to say that the ‘adventurous’ parts of the movie made me yawn quite a bit. Though I have to admit that the smart twist in the end of how Sinbad turned the tables and made Eris lose the bet was kind of interesting. The love/romance part of it was EXTREMELY EXPECTED that I was so bored with it. However, one major good point of this movie was the hilarious and laugh-out-loud scenes that Sinbad and Marina shared due to their witty comments. This was the only truly entertaining part about this entire film. Animations: Fantastic. The animations, nice blend of colours and graphics are the reason why I was eve able to give this movie a 5 upon 10. Without such animations, I would most probably fail this movie. Characters: I personally feel Sinbad’s naughty pirate and arrogant characteristic was strongly portrayed through Brad Pitt’s voice. Like Brad Pitt’s voice really suited Sinbad! Sinbad’s a nice guy I would say, but like any other hot blooded male, he’s attracted to beauty. Dangerously charming, that’s how I would describe Sinbad. Sound effects: Impressive, but not good enough for me. I think the adventurous scenes could be more exciting if the sound effects were more engaging. I don’t know la ): Most memorable line/scene: “Argh! Men!” – I would recommend it to: Brad Pitt fans and those who don’t have any better animated movie to watch. This movie isn’t that bad la, I was just rather bored by it overall. It’s a good animated movie to waste time though.
